Admissions to B.E/B. Tech. (Including candidates under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme/ Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)/ Kashmiri Migrants (K.M.)/ Haryana Government School Toppers (HGST) shall be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE (Main)-2022 through two on-line off-campus counseling on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. |

Admission to B.Arch shall be made on the basis of combined merit prepared either from the percentile of NATA-2022 score or percentile of JEE Main Paper-2A-2022 and Percentage of marks of qualifying exam in 50:50 through two on-line off-campus counseling on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. |

There is no printed application form available/ acceptable. Further, applications for admission in all B.Tech./B.Arch. Courses (including all categories) shall be invited online at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. as per “Key Dates” given in Appendix-K of Prospectus. |

The candidates have to fill the particulars online and also have to upload their coloured photograph (JPG, JPEG File Max. 30KB Size) and signature (JPG, JPEG File Max. 20KB Size). |

During the filling of Online Application Form, a candidates applying for B.Arch. course including EWSs category shall upload the scanned copy of PDF Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) of 10th (for Date of Birth verification) and DMC of qualifying Examination and score card of NATA-2022 exam or result card of JEE Main Paper-2A-2022 at the time of filling the online application form for Verification & Confirmation of Online Filled Application Form by the designated centers as per the notified schedule and instructions. After submission of online application form for B.E./B.Tech./ B.Tech. (Bio-Tech.) &
B.Arch. course, the candidates are advised to deposit the Registration Fees online.

The candidates are advised to fill all the particulars like name, father name, date of birth, category, resident of Haryana, income, economically weaker category etc. in the online application form correctly. If the particulars of any candidate is found wrong at the time of reporting of admission then his/ her admission may be cancelled and the candidate himself/ herself will be responsible for the canceling of the said admission. If any candidate wants to correct his/ her particulars after submission of online application form he/ she may contact HSTES on email id onlineadmissionhelp@gmail.com and at the toll free no. 1800-137-3735 before the last date of closing of application form. |

The candidates can visit nearby Common Service Centers (CSC) or nearby Government
Polytechnics/ HSTES for filling the online application form/ deposit of fees/ filling choices for counseling etc. (Common Service Centres are physical facilities for delivering Government of India e-Services to rural and remote locations where availability of computers and Internet was negligible or mostly absent). |

After submission of Registeration Fee, candidate have to login with Unique Application No. & Password. Upon login, candidate will be able to fill choices online. A candidate who has selected special category, will be able to fill choices for different Roll No‟s i.e. General Roll No. & Special Category Roll No. through same login. For Example:A Candidate namely “SUMIT” has registered for Diploma Engg. Course and got the Unique Application: 100005. Upon Registeration, Sumit has applied for Special Category as well i.e. TFW. Now, while filling the Choices Online, Sumit will be able to Fill Choices for 2 different Roll No.‟s i.e. General Roll No. (DE100005) & TFW Special Category Roll No. (WE100005). |

Candidates of KM, TFW, EWS & HGST categories of B.E/B. Tech. course are required to select his /her category during filling online application form on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.. He /She will get unique application number after submission of online application form. The unique application form number may be used by the candidate for any correspondence with HSTES, Panchkula. |

The candidate (TFW and EWS) of B. Tech. course shall upload his/her Income certificate for TFW and Income & Asset Certificate for EWS category issued by competent authority (PDF of Max 100 KB Size for each document) at the time of registration |

KM category of B. Tech. course candidates shall upload his/her Migration Certificate duly signed by Competent Authority or Relief Commissioner (in case of KM), Detailed Marks Certificate of Qualifying exam and proof of Date of Birth (PDF of Max. 100 KB Size for each document), recent passport size Colored Photograph (JPG File Max. 30KB Size) and Specimen Signature (JPG File Max. 20KB Size) during filling the online application form on website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. |

Submission of duplicate application is not allowed. It has been decided by the Government that from the session 2019-20 onwards, the candidate shall submit preferably the Aadhaar Number (or Enrolment No.) at the time of online registration |

Admissions for B. Arch Course shall be made on the basis of valid NATA-2022 score in percentile form/ Percentile of JEE Main Paper-2A-2022 as declared by Council of Architecture (COA) and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50. |

The Merit List for B. Arch. Course shall be displayed on the website www.hstes.org.in as per “KEY DATES”. No separate result card will be sent to the candidates. |

The fee structure of various self-financing technical institutions is available at Appendix-F of prospectus and on the website www.techeduhry.gov.in. Candidates are advised in their own interest to see the fee structure of institutes on the website of concerned institute/ University and on the website www.techeduhry.gov.in before filling the choices of branch and institute during online counseling. |

Locking of filled choices is advisable, however, candidates who do not lock the choices,
their last filled choice would be considered as final. |

During Counseling, Registration for online counseling on
https://techadmissionshry.gov.in will be allowed prior to the respective counseling as
per the dates mentioned in “Key Dates” for B.Tech. courses as per Roll number of JEE
Main -2022. The candidates who have registered before 1st Online-Off-Campus
counseling at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in need not register again for participating
in 2nd Online-Off-Campus counseling. On registration, password has to be created by
the candidate, for use in future logins. Candidates are advised to keep records of
this password secretly for their own use only and not to disclose this to others. In
the event of sharing of password, candidate will be solely responsible for the change of
registration details, choices etc |

Candidates are advised to register for Online Counseling and fill choices from their
own home or by going to participating institution and SHOULD NOT go to any cyber cafe or any outside unauthorized persons for the same, as they may mislead or misguide you. |

After closing of 1st counseling, the candidate will see the result of 1st counseling as per key
dates. |
| 38. |
After declaration of the result of first counseling, Candidate shall report online/offline as
per provisional seat allotment letter to the allotted institute and deposit the semester fee for
confirmation of seat. (Please read the allotment letter and chapter 7 & 8 of prospectus carefully). The
allotted institute shall verify the credentials uploaded by the candidates with in time and
confirm the admission of the candidate on intra portal of HSTES and issue Provisional
Admission Slip to the candidate online/offline as a proof of his/her admission. In case,
the candidate fails to report online/offline as per the key dates or the documents / fees
uploaded are found incorrect, then his/ her allotted seat will be forfeited/ cancelled
automatically. |

To participate in 2nd counseling & subsequent counseling (if any), candidates will have to
again fill (refill) the choices in the order of priority on the counseling website
https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. Admission procedure for filling of choices of
Branch/Institute shall remain the same. In case seat is allotted in 2nd or subsequent
counseling, the earlier allotted/reported seat will be cancelled automatically & the
candidate will have to report online again to the institute allotted in 2nd or Subsequent
counseling. Thus candidates are advised to fill the choices in order of priority only to
upgrade. The candidate who is satisfied with his/her earlier admission & wish to
retain the reported seat shall not opt for subsequent counseling. |

Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) / Kashmiri Migrant (KM)/Haryana Govt. School Topper
(HGST)/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Counseling shall be done parallel to the
general counseling as per the rank of JEE Main 2022. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme of
AICTE can be seen at Appendix-I of prospectus. |

After declaration of the result of first counseling, the candidate shall report in the allotted
institute as per schedule mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter generated
from the website for admission against the allotted seat alongwith all requisite
documents/ certificates/ testimonials in original, photograph as mentioned in Chapter-8
and password. The allotted institute shall verify the credentials online uploaded by the
candidates with in time and confirm the admission of the candidate on intra portal of
HSTES and issue Provisional Admission Slip to the candidate online as a proof of his/her
admission. The candidate MUST get the Provisional Admission Slip from the allotted
institute dully signed by the admission coordinator of the institute and the candidate
himself/ herself. In case, the candidate fails to report online/ offline as per the key dates
or the documents uploaded are found incorrect, then his/ her allotted seat will be
forfeited/ cancelled automatically. |

After successful reporting to the allotted institute, the institute MUST issue an online
generated Provisional Admission Slip to the candidate as per Key-Dates. |

The institute must update the status of reporting/ non-reporting by a candidate by simply
tick marking the checklist online by checking all the parameters of the check list. The online generated admission slip shall be given to the candidate after successful reporting |
| 44. |
Fulfilling eligibility for B.E/B. Tech. w.r.t. qualification and percentage of qualifying exam
shall be proved by the candidate at the time of registration for online centralized counseling. The candidate may seek admission at his/her own risk and cost and if he/she is found ineligible at the time of physical reporting, his/her entire dues shall be forfeited and his/her admission shall be cancelled for which he/she shall have no claim, whatsoever |

For the guidance of candidates, list of Institutes along with branches and sanctioned
intake thereof is provided at Appendix-G. Candidates must go through this Appendix-G for preparation of his/her mind set for selection of preference of choices to be filled by the candidate during online counseling. For details of List of Institutes along with branches and intake refer to Appendix-G of Prospectus. |

The original certificates of the candidate should not be retained by the institute, under any
circumstances. The candidate seeking admission will submit his/her documents/ certificates/testimonials duly attested by the Principal/ Headmaster of the school/ college last attended/ any gazetted officer, if asked by the institute at the time of physically joining the institute. |
| 47. |
The Director-Principal/ Registrar of the concerned Institute/ University Department
shall satisfy him-self/ herself regarding the authenticity of all certificates uploaded online
by the candidates for the purpose of their admission in B. Tech. and B. Arch. course and
shall be verified online by the institution from the issuing authority of the certificates. The
Director-Principal/ Registrar should also ascertain the identity of the candidate by
verifying his photo from photo available at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. The
Director-Principal/ Registrar of the concerned Institute shall be held responsible for any
ineligible admission made in their institute. Anyhow, if the affiliating University, so
desires, the original certificates from the candidate can be demanded by the institute at
the time of physically joining the institute, of his admission for any purpose whatsoever it
may be. |

HSTES reserves no right to change the allotment of seat for any particular individual as
the allotment is done purely as per the defined counseling procedure/admission guidelines. |

Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC/ BC will be given to eligible SC/ BC students by the
respective Department. |

Help regarding counseling would be taken from the University Departments, Govt.
Engineering Colleges and Government Polytechnics in the State of Haryana for support

HSTES does not have any right to change the allotted branch/ college during online
counseling. No such request will be considered. |

If the admissions in any branch in Govt. Engineering Colleges are less than 25% in
B.Tech. Course, the students of that branch will be shifted to other Govt.
Engineering College or branch as per the vacancies and on the basis of directions
issued by the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana. |

The institute shall submit one set of documents self-attested by the admitted candidates
(whose details uploaded on HSTES portal last cut off date of Admissions) and duly
authenticated by Institute to the concerned affiliating University for authentication and
registration purpose. The concerned affiliating University will further authenticate
the documents of the admitted students submitted by the institute after one month
of last date admissions for registration of the students. |
