Important Instructions for B.E/ B.Tech & B.Architecture
1. The Admission Brochure is for admission to B.E/B. Tech/B. Arch. Courses for the Academic Year 2023-24. Its contents are subject to change without prior notice Therefore, visit HSTES website regularly for updates
2. Admissions to B.E/B. Tech. (Including candidates under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme/ Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)/ Kashmiri Migrants (K.M.)/ Haryana Government School Toppers (HGST) shall be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE (Main)-2023 through two on-line off-campus counseling on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in
3. Admission to B.Arch shall be made on the basis of combined merit prepared either from the percentile of NATA-2023 score or percentile of any other test recognized by COA and Percentage of marks of qualifying exam in 50:50 through two on-line off-campus counseling on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.
4. There is no printed application form available/ acceptable. Further, applications for admission in all B.Tech./B.Arch. Courses (including all categories) shall be invited online at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. as per “Key Dates” given in Appendix-K.
5. The candidates of Haryana have to fill the PPP ID online and also have to upload their coloured photograph (JPG, JPEG File Max. 30KB Size) and signature (JPG, JPEG File Max. 20KB Size).
6. The candidates from other State have to fill the particulars online and also have to upload their coloured photograph (JPG, JPEG File Max. 30KB Size) and signature (JPG, JPEG File Max. 20KB Size) of other state
7. The particulars of the candidate in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the qualifying examination.
8. The candidates are advised to provide personal mobile number and email id as the same will be used to communicate any advisory/ notification related to admissions
9. The candidates are advised to clearly opt the course as per their eligibility i.e. B.Tech./B.Tech (Bio-Tech.)/ B.Arch. and special category i.e. HGST/ KM/ TFW/ EWS’s
10. The candidates should note down the unique application number which will be generated as the candidate signup for the above Courses. The unique application number will be required for future communication. The candidate should keep a copy of application form for his/ her record.
11. The candidates, who belongs to Haryana State, shall provide their Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) ID or Aadhaar No. (If applicant does not remember PPP ID) during sign up/registration at www.techadmissionshry.gov.in. All related data of the applicant like name, gender, DOB, father name, mother name, income, category & sub category will be fetched from his/her PPP ID data base and these details fetched from PPP database will be non-editable. So that all the candidates from Haryana State will have to get his/her details updated and verified on PPP portal first.
12. The candidates, who belong to the State other than Haryana, shall provide their Aadhaar No. during sign up/registration at www.techadmissionshry.gov.in. In case the Aadhar No. of any candidate of other state is available in PPP Data base, then the candidate will not be allowed to register as of other state candidate during registration.
13. In case the Aadhar No. of any candidate of other state is available in PPP Data base, the candidate will not be allowed to register as other state candidate.
14. The candidate, who belongs to the State of Haryana, need not to upload the documents of his/her category (SC, BC, General etc.), Annual Family Income, Date of Birth during registration on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in as the same will be fetched and verified from PPP Data base. However, the candidates are required to upload the pdf of documents of his/her sub category like ESM, FF & Special Categories like EWS etc.
15. During the filling of Online Application Form, the candidates applying for B.Arch. course including EWSs category shall upload the scanned copy of PDF Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) of 10th (for Date of Birth verification) and DMC of qualifying Examination and score card of NATA-2023 exam or result card of any other test recognized by COA at the time of filling the online application form for Verification & Confirmation of Online Filled Application Form by the HSTES, Panchkula as per the notified schedule and instructions.
16. After submission of online application form for B.E./B.Tech./ B.Tech. (Bio-Tech.) & B.Arch. course, the candidates are advised to deposit the Registration Fees online.
17. The candidates are advised to check their all the particulars like name, father name, date of birth, category, resident of Haryana, income etc. fetched from the PPP ID during the online registration correctly. In case of any discrepancy, candidate will have to get the details updated and verified by PPP portal and this updated PPP data can be fetched again by the verified before verifying the details during online registration.
18. The candidates are advised to fill all the particulars like name, father name, date of birth, category, resident of Haryana, income, economically weaker category etc. in the online application form correctly. If the particulars of any candidate are found wrong at the time of reporting of admission then his/ her admission may be cancelled and the candidate himself/ herself will be responsible for the canceling of the said admission. If any candidate wants to correct his/ her editable particulars (except the details fetched/verified from PPP ID) after submission of online application form he/ she may contact HSTES on email id onlineadmissionhelp@gmail.com and at the toll free no. 1800-137-3735 before the last date of closing of application form
19. A candidate shall be allowed to change his/ her registration details (except the details fetched from PPP ID) before submission of the registration fee or confirmation of details.
20. The candidates are required to complete 07 stages for registration at www.techadmissionshry.gov.in i.e. Application Form, Other Details, upload photo & signatures, filling marks of qualifying examination, confirm his/her details, upload the requisite documents in pdf & pay applicable fees.
21. The Registration Fees for B.E/B. Tech., B. Tech. (Bio-Tech.) & B.Arch. course shall be deposited by the candidate Online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/UPI by using online payment gateway during filling the online application form.

  • Note: The Online Registration Fee once paid shall not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances. The service charges will be charged from payer for using online payment gateway

  • Registration Fees:

    •            Rs. 1000/- for General Category

               Rs. 700/- for All Reserved Categories (SC/ SCD/BC/PH/FF/ESM/KM/Girls)

    22. The filling up of choices for Online Counseling’s will be done for those candidates only who have deposited the Online Registration Fees
    23. The verification of application forms of B.Arch. will be done for those candidates only who have deposited the Online Registration Fees
    24. The candidates can visit nearby Common Service Centers (CSC) or nearby Government Polytechnics/ HSTES for filling the online application form/ deposit of fees/ filling choices for counseling etc. (Common Service Centres are physical facilities for delivering Government of India e-Services to rural and remote locations where availability of computers and Internet was negligible or mostly absent).
    25. After submission of online registration forum along with fees at www.techadmissionshry.gov.in, candidate have to login with Unique Application No. & Password. Upon login, candidate will be able to fill choices online. A candidate who has selected special category, will be able to fill choices for different Roll No’s i.e. General Roll No. & Special Category Roll No. through same login.

    For Example: A Candidate namely “SUMIT” has registered for Diploma Engg. Course and got the Unique Application: 100005. Upon Registration, Sumit has applied for Special Category as well i.e. TFW. Now, while filling the Choices Online, Sumit will be able to Fill Choices for 2 different Roll No.’s i.e. General Roll No. (DE100005) & TFW Special Category Roll No. (WE100005).

    26. Candidates of KM, TFW, EWS & HGST categories of B.E/B. Tech. course are required to select his /her category during filling online application form on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.. He/She will get unique application number after submission of online application form. The unique application form number may be used by the candidate for any correspondence with HSTES, Panchkula.
    27. PPP ID shall remain mandatory for Haryana students for taking admissions in B.E/B.Tech & B.Arch. Course and during the applying online for these courses at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. , the PPP ID must be filled by the Haryana Candidates. The details of the candidate like his/her name, father name, mother name, Annual Family Income, Category etc. will be fetched from their PPP ID which should be marked as verified in family information data repository (FIDR).The caste/reservation/annual income/financial benefits given to the candidate shall be on the basis of verified caste/income fetched through PPP as per the State Govt.
    28. Any unverified data of PPP of the candidate shall lead to his candidature considered in general category only. So that all the candidates seeking admission are advised to get their PPP ID get updated & verified.
    29. The candidate of EWS Category of B. Tech. course shall upload his/her Income & Asset Certificate for EWS category issued by competent authority (PDF of Max 100 KB Size for each document) at the time of registration
    30. KM category of B. Tech. course candidates shall upload his/her Migration Certificate duly signed by Competent Authority or Relief Commissioner (in case of KM), Detailed Marks Certificate of Qualifying exam and proof of Date of Birth (PDF of Max. 100 KB Size for each document), recent passport size Colored Photograph (JPG File Max. 30KB Size) and Specimen Signature (JPG File Max. 20KB Size) during filling the online application form on website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.
    31. HGST category of B. Tech. course candidates shall upload his/her HGST certificate from the Principal of the Govt. School of Haryana of which the candidate is topper (PDF of Max. 100 KB Size), recent passport size Colored Photograph (JPG File Max. 30KB Size) and Specimen Signature (JPG File Max. 20KB Size) during filling the online application form on website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in
    32. Before submitting the online application form, the candidate can check and edit his/her registration details except the details fetched & verified from PPP data base. Further, the candidate should also ensure that the photograph, signature, Detailed marks Certificate of qualifying examination & proof of Date of Birth and Migration Certificate duly signed by Competent Authority or Relief Commissioner (in case of KM)/certificate from the Principal of the Govt. School of Haryana of which the candidate is topper (in case of HGST) uploaded are his/her own and registration details of the candidate must be same as per the qualifying exam & JEE(MAIN)-2023 rank card
    33. Before submitting the online application form of B. Tech. (for EWS/TFW category), the candidate can check his/her registration details. Further, the candidate should also ensure that the photograph, signature uploaded are his/her own and registration details of the candidate must be same as per the qualifying exam & JEE(MAIN)-2023 rank card.
    34. Submission of duplicate application is not allowed. In case, if a candidate wants to correct/update certain detail(s) submitted in his/ her online application form (except the details fetched & verified from PPP ID), same would be done upto the last date of submission of online application form by the HSTES, Panchkula as per key-dates along with the required documents.
    35. It has been decided by the Government that from the session 2019-20 onwards, the candidate shall submit preferably the Aadhaar Number (or Enrolment No.) at the time of online registration
    36. Admissions for B. Arch Course shall be made on the basis of valid NATA-2023 score in percentile form/ Percentile of any other test recognized by COA as declared by Council of Architecture (COA) and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50.
    37. The candidates applying for B. Arch Course shall upload his/her Rank card (PDF of Max 100 KB Size) of Score card of valid NATA -2022 or JEE Main Paper-2A-2022 Rank Card and Detailed marks Certificate of Qualifying exam (PDF of Max 100 KB Size) along with other documents on online application form on website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.
    38. For B. Arch. Course, Registration cum Application Fee shall be deposited by the candidate through Credit/Debit Card or Net-banking by using online payment gateway during filling the online application form

  • The Registration Fees once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.

  • Registration cum Application Fee:

    39. Online application filled by candidate for B.Arch. Course will be verified by the HSTES w.r.t. his/ her credentials, marks etc. which were asked to fill and after verification by the HSTES, Inter-se-Merit will be prepared.
    40. The Merit List for B. Arch. Course shall be displayed on the website www.hstes.org.in as per “KEY DATES”. No separate result card will be sent to the candidates.
    Note: The merit of those candidates will not be prepared, who have not uploaded his/her documents of qualifying examination, NATA 2023 Score card & have not deposited the online registration fee. Moreover their online application is liable to be rejected by the HSTES, Panchkula and no correspondence or request will be entertained in this regard thereafter.
    41. The Centralized counseling would be done on website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. Candidate shall upload the requisite documents i.e. Special Category Certificate and sub category (other than fetched & verified from PPP ID) etc. see Chapter 8) in scanned PDF Format of 100 KB size and their PPP ID during registration process. A candidate shall be allowed to change his/her registration details (except the details fetched & verified from his/her PPP ID) before confirmation of Application Form.
    42. The fee structure of various self-financing technical institutions is available at AppendixF and on the website www.techeduhry.gov.in. Candidates are advised in their own interest to see the fee structure of institutes on the website of concerned institute/University and on the website www.techeduhry.gov.in before filling the choices of branch and institute during online counseling
    43. Locking of filled choices is advisable, however, candidates who do not lock the choices, their last filled choice would be considered as final.
    44. During Counseling, Registration for online counseling on https://techadmissionshry.gov.in will be allowed prior to the respective counseling as per the dates mentioned in “Key Dates” for B.Tech. courses as per Roll number of JEE Main-2023. The candidates who have registered before 1st Online-Off-Campus counseling at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in need not register again for participating in 2nd Online-Off-Campus counseling. On registration, password has to be created by the candidate, for use in future logins. Candidates are advised to keep records of this password secretly for their own use only and not to disclose this to others. In the event of sharing of password, candidate will be solely responsible for the change of registration details, choices etc
    45. Candidates are advised to register for Online Counseling and fill choices from their own home or by going to participating institution and SHOULD NOT go to any cyber cafe or any outside unauthorized persons for the same, as they may mislead or misguide you.
    46. After closing of 1st counseling, the candidate will see the result of 1st counseling as per key dates.
    47. After declaration of the result of first counseling, Candidate shall report as per provisional seat allotment letter to the allotted institute and deposit the semester fee for confirmation of seat. (Please read the allotment letter and chapter 7 & 8 carefully). The allotted institute shall verify the credentials uploaded by the candidates with in time and confirm the admission of the candidate on intra portal of HSTES and issue Provisional Admission Slip to the candidate as a proof of his/her admission. In case, the candidate fails to report as per the key dates or the documents / fees uploaded are found incorrect, then his/ her allotted seat will be forfeited/ cancelled automatically
    48. To participate in 2nd counseling & subsequent counseling (if any), candidates will have to again fill (refill) the choices in the order of priority on the counseling website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. Admission procedure for filling of choices of Branch/Institute shall remain the same. In case seat is allotted in 2nd or subsequent counseling, the earlier allotted/reported seat will be cancelled automatically & the candidate will have to report online again to the institute allotted in 2nd or Subsequent counseling. Thus candidates are advised to fill the choices in order of priority only to upgrade. The candidate who is satisfied with his/her earlier admission & wish to retain the reported seat shall not opt for subsequent counseling
    49. Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) / Kashmiri Migrant (KM)/Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST)/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Counseling shall be done parallel to the general counseling as per the rank of JEE Main 2023. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme of AICTE can be seen at Appendix-I.
    50. After declaration of the result of first counseling, the candidate shall report in the allotted institute as per schedule mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter generated from the website for admission against the allotted seat alongwith all requisite documents/ certificates/ testimonials in original, photograph as mentioned in Chapter-8 and password. The allotted institute shall verify the credentials online uploaded by the candidates with in time and confirm the admission of the candidate on intra portal of HSTES and issue Provisional Admission Slip to the candidate online as a proof of his/her admission. The candidate MUST get the Provisional Admission Slip from the allotted institute dully signed by the admission coordinator of the institute and the candidate himself/ herself. In case, the candidate fails to report online/ offline as per the key dates or the documents uploaded are found incorrect, then his/ her allotted seat will be forfeited/ cancelled automatically
    51. After successful reporting to the allotted institute, the institute MUST issue an online generated Provisional Admission Slip to the candidate as per Key-Dates.
    52. The institute must update the status of reporting/ non-reporting by a candidate by simply tick marking the checklist online by checking all the parameters of the check list. The online generated admission slip shall be given to the candidate after successful reporting.
    53. Fulfilling eligibility for B.E/B. Tech. w.r.t. qualification and percentage of qualifying exam shall be proved by the candidate at the time of registration for online centralized counseling. The candidate may seek admission at his/her own risk and cost and if he/she is found ineligible at the time of physical reporting, his/her entire dues shall be forfeited and his/her admission shall be cancelled for which he/she shall have no claim, whatsoever.
    54. For the guidance of candidates, list of Institutes along with branches and sanctioned intake thereof is provided at Appendix-G. Candidates must go through this Appendix-G for preparation of his/her mind set for selection of preference of choices to be filled by the candidate during online counseling. For details of List of Institutes along with branches and intake refer to Appendix-G.
    55. The original certificates of the candidate should not be retained by the institute, under any circumstances. The candidate seeking admission will submit his/her documents/certificates/testimonials duly attested by the Principal/ Headmaster of the school/ college last attended/ any gazetted officer, if asked by the institute at the time of physically joining the institute
    56. The Director-Principal/ Registrar of the concerned Institute/ University Department shall satisfy him-self/ herself regarding the authenticity of all certificates uploaded online by the candidates for the purpose of their admission in B. Tech. and B. Arch. course and shall be verified online by the institution from the issuing authority of the certificates. The Director-Principal/ Registrar should also ascertain the identity of the candidate by verifying his photo from photo available at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.. The Director-Principal/ Registrar of the concerned Institute shall be held responsible for any ineligible admission made in their institute. Anyhow, if the affiliating University, so desires, the original certificates from the candidate can be demanded by the institute at the time of physically joining the institute, of his admission for any purpose whatsoever it may be.
    57. For the guidance of candidates, Institute-wise, branch-wise first & last ranks of admission status of the last session 2022-23 would be available on counseling website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.
    58. HSTES reserves no right to change the allotment of seat for any particular individual as the allotment is done purely as per the defined counseling procedure/admission guidelines.
    59. Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC/ BC will be given to eligible SC/ BC students by the respective Department.
    60. Help regarding counseling would be taken from the University Departments, Govt.Engineering Colleges and Government Polytechnics in the State of Haryana for support and guidance of the candidates. Candidates may also contact HSTES at 1800-137-3735 (Toll Free) or onlineadmissonhelp@gmail.com for any enquiry/ help regarding applying online, counseling fee etc
    61. HSTES does not have any right to change the allotted branch/ college during online counseling. No such request will be considered.
    62. If the admissions in any branch in Govt. Engineering Colleges (SIETs) are less than 25% in B.Tech. Course, the students of that branch will be shifted to other Govt. Engineering College or branch as per the vacancies and on the basis of directions issued by the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana.
    63. Always quote your JEE (Main)/NATA Roll No. while making correspondence regarding admission to B.E./B. Tech/B. Arch. courses.
    64. The institute shall submit one set of documents self-attested by the admitted candidates (whose details uploaded on HSTES portal last cut off date of Admissions) and duly authenticated by Institute to the concerned affiliating University for authentication and registration purpose. The concerned affiliating University will further authenticate the documents of the admitted students submitted by the institute after one month of last date admissions for registration of the students.
