Eligibility for B.E./ B.Tech (Four Year Duration Course)
Minimum Academic Qualification

Should be Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as per table given in Prospectus at Page No: 16 (“Under Graduate Engineering Entry level qualification 10+2 level”), Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

OR

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector

(The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme).

OR

Passed minimum 3 years Diploma Examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Note:
1. If there is any change in minimum academic qualification in terms of percentage in aggregate for private institutes for the session 2025-26, it will be incorporated at the time of counseling.
2. For Kashmiri Migrants relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% subject to the minimum eligibility requirement in B.E./B. Tech. Kashmiri Migrant are required to fill Online Application Form on website::https://techadmissionshry.gov.in
3. If candidates have identical Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE Main – 2025 in Paper-I even after applying NTA’s tie-breaking, the preference will be given for seat allotment to such candidate who is senior in age (D.o.B.) and thereafter alphabets of the candidate name.



Eligibility for B.Architecture (Five Year Duration Course)
Minimum Academic Qualification

(*Subject to change as per guidelines/directions of COA and State Govt.).

No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
Students passed Diploma Architecture through Lateral Entry, who have not passed mathematics as one of the subject, are not eligible for admission in B.Arch.

The candidate needs to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture either NATA-2025 conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) or any other aptitude test recognized by the COA.

The institutions shall give weightage of 50 percent marks for aptitude tests and 50 percent marks in the Qualifying examination as provided in sub-regulation (1), in the matter of admissions.

Basis of Admission Admission shall be made on the basis of Architecture aptitude test "NATA" conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) or any other aptitude test recognized by the COA and merit lists may be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of 10+2 and NATA-2025 score (percentile) or score (percentile) of any other aptitude test recognized by the COA in the ratio 50:50.
